Apple TV+ revealed the premiere date of the anticipated season 2 of the drama series “Pachinko.”
“Pachinko” season 2 will star Lee Min-ho, Youn Yuh-Jung, Kim Minha, Anna Sawai, Jin Ha, Jung Eunchae, Soji Arai, Han Junwoo and Kim Sungkyu.
According to Apple TV+, season 2 of the Peabody, Gotham and AFI Award-winning drama will premiere on Aug. 23.

Along with the announcement, Apple TV+ released teaser photos and the main title sequence of the drama from Soo Hugh.
“Pachinko” will be told in three languages–Korean, Japanese and English–and will have eight one-hour episodes.
The first episode will premiere on Aug. 23 followed by one episode weekly every Friday until Oct. 11.
“Pachinko” became Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes during its first season and has been praised as “masterful” and deemed as “an extraordinary drama” and “one of the best shows of 2022."
It is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name and tells the story of love and survival across four generations.
The first season garnered 11 international awards including a Peabody Award, an American Film Institute Award, a Critics Choice Award and a Gotham Independent Film Award.
