Carlos Yulo etched his name in history books after capturing his second gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics following his dominance in the vault apparatus of the men's artistic gymnastics on Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Bercy Arena.

Still on cloud nine from his golden performance in floor exercise the day before, Yulo dazzled the crowd anew by tallying a 15.116 average from his two vaults. He scored 15.433 on his first vault and 14.800 on his second.
With the feat, Yulo becomes the first Filipino to become a multiple medalist in a single edition and the first Filipino double gold medalist since the country started participating in the sports' global showpiece 100 years ago.
Meanwhile, Armenia's Artur Davtyan snagged the silver with 14.966 while Great Britain's Harry Hepworth took home the bronze with 14.933.
