ROS clobbers Converge, arranges finals clash vs La Salle in Kadayawan

The Elasto Painters came out firing right off the gates and established a huge 38-17 lead at the end of the opening frame – a lead that proved to be enough to weather any rally from the FiberXers the rest of the way.
Rain or Shine was the only undefeated team heading into the fourth day of the tournament which serves as the teams’ preparations for their respective seasons.
The Elasto Painters ended up with a 3-0 record, setting up a finals collision against La Salle which came in second in the standings with a 2-1 slate.
Converge and Phoenix, meanwhile, also set up a battle for third clash.
Fuller led the charge of ROS with 21 points and nine rebounds while Caracut complemented his inside presence with three triples on his way to 20 points.
Adrian Nocum added 15 points while Jhonard Clarito chipped in 14 points.
Schonny Winston continued his fine play so far, erupting for 24 points for the FiberXers who finally fielded import Scotty Hopson. The former NBA player finished with 23 points and five rebounds.
It was the second straight defeat for Converge after also losing to La Salle in their second game, 120-112.
