Trina Candaza, Carlo Aquino's former partner, revealed that the actor did not contact her to have their daughter, Mithi, attend his and Charlie Dizon's wedding.

Trina's response was disclosed through showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz, who reached out to her. On his YouTube series' Showbiz Update,' Ogie shared that Mithi was with Trina the whole day of the wedding.

"Sabi ni Trina, nasa kanya lang daw si Mithi. Baka daw yung iba ma-misinterpret na hindi niya pinayagan" Ogie said.

(Trina said Mithi was with her. She also mentioned that people might misinterpret her for not allowing Mith to attend the wedding.

Reading the message through his phone, Ogie continued, "Carlo didn't ask kung pwedeng umattend si Mithi."

(Carlo didn't ask me if Mithi is allowed to attend.)

Ending Trina's response, Ogie further noted that it was okay for Trina if Carlo asked if their daughter could be part of the entourage.

"Pero kay Trina kung nagpaaala lang si Carlo bakit naman daw hindi? E, hindi nga nag-reach out sa kanya," Ogie said.

(But if Carlo had just asked for permission, I don't see any reason not to allow him, but he didn't reach out to Trina)

Ogie further explained that he understands both Trina and Carlo's perspectives on the situation.

"Ako naman, naiintindihan ko rin naman si Trina kung saan siya nanggagaling at naintindihan rin naman natin si Carlo kung saan siya nanggagaling na baka ayaw muna niyang gambalain at gusto niya focus lang siya sa anak niya pag sila’y nagkita ni Mithi,” Ogie added.

(As for me, I understand Trina's position, and I also understand Carlo, who may prefer avoiding conflict and wants to focus on Mithi when they meet face to face.)

Carlo and Trina announced their engagement in January 2019 and welcomed Mithi in September 2020. The partners called it quits in 2022.

Charlie and Carlo tied the knot in Silang, Cavite on June 9.
