The city governments of Makati and Pasig started holding their respective circumcision operations for its young male residents on Monday, June 3.
According to the Makati City local government, the Makati Health Department's (MHD) Operation Tuli is open to boys, nine to 13 years old.
Those interested to avail of the free circumcision may proceed to the city's health centers for preliminary examination and assessment. Younger and older men may also avail of the procedure depending on the recommendation of healthcare professionals.
The local government unit (LGU) noted that only children whose parents are Yellow Card holders may avail of the medical procedure.

Pasig City's circumcision mission is open to boys, nine to 15 years old.
"Sa mga nais magpa-register, pumunta lamang sa pinakamalapit na barangay health center sa inyong lugar, simula Lunes hanggang Biyernes, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Pagkatapos magparehistro ay malalaman din ang schedule at venue kung saan gaganapin ang pagtutuli (Those who wish to register for the procedure may proceed to the nearest barangay health center in their area from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The venue and schedule of their operation will be disclosed after registration)," the city government said.
The schedule and venue of the circumcision for this week, June 3 to 7, can be found on the LGU's official Facebook page. It will also post the weekly schedule of its Operation Tuli on the same page.

The city government reminded the public that boys who will undergo the procedure should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 years old and above.
