In celebration of the Philippines’ 126th Independence Day, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has launched its E-Patrol Services at the Rizal Park in Manila.
The two-day initiative, running from Monday, June 10, to Tuesday, June 11, aims to bring government services closer to the public.
LTO chief Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II pointed out the importance of this initiative, emphasizing that it makes LTO services more accessible to the public.
“The deployment of E-Patrol Services is intended to ensure comfortable and fast transactions for all our clients," Mendoza said in a statement.
The agency said E-Patrol Services offer a range of LTO services, including the renewal of driver’s licenses and the processing of Student Permits.
As such, a Public Assistance Complaints Desk has been set up to receive and address complaints.
“We will also assist our clients regarding their LTMS Portal concerns, such as changing passwords and retrieving accounts," the LTO chief added.
The LTO urged applicants to take advantage of this opportunity by bringing the necessary documents required by the agency.
“All the applicants need to bring a valid ID, TDC (Theoretical Driving Course) for the Student Permit applicants and proof of passing mark of CDE (Comprehensive Driver's Education) exam,” it stated.
Mendoza said that the LTO is one with the Filipino people in celebrating the 126th Independence Day.
