Motorcycle bursts into flames, rider escapes unhurt

An alert rider escaped unhurt from his motorcycle that burst into flames while he was driving it along Barangay Panducot, Calumpit, Bulacan on Wednesday night, May 1.

The rider, identified as Fidel, said he saw fire coming from the front part of his motorcycle while he was driving it.

He immediately jumped off as his motorcycle was engulfed in flames. It did not explode.

Fidel said his motorcycle engine may have overheated due to the extreme heat being felt in the province. 

He was thankful for escaping with no injury.

"Ang motorsiklo ay napapalitan, pero ang ang iisa nating buhay ay hindi napapalitan," (The motorcycle can be replaced, but not our life )," he added.
