Caloocan City offers free animal bite treatments, anti-rabies vaccine for pets
The Caloocan City government offers free consultations, anti-rabies vaccine, and medicines for animal bite cases.
According to a social media post by Caloocan City Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan on Monday, May 4, there are eight animal bite centers in the city, which are open from Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The animal bite centers are:
- Bagong Barrio Zone 1 Health center
- Bagumbong Health Center
- Amparo Health Center
- Bagong Silang Phase 1 Health Center
- Park Land Health Center
- Torres Bugallon Health Center
- A.A. Zapa Center
- Calaanan Health Center
The local government is also offering free anti-rabies vaccine for dogs and cats provided by the City Veterinary Department.
The free anti-rabies vaccination for animals runs from March 1 to March 8.
