The said barangay has the largest number of population in the country.

Malapitan conveyed his excitement about witnessing the completion of the project, as it was one of his initiatives during his tenure as the District 1 representative.

You know, among the projects I allocated funds for when I was a congressman was the construction of an office for the largest barangay in the Philippines. That's why I am happy to see that you can now benefit from it),” he said.

He also urged the officials and residents of Bagong Silang to cherish and take care of their new barangay hall.
