Another reason she was inspired to do more films was the success of the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival, which was extended until Jan. 14.

After the success of her films "Latay," and "AbeNida," independent film producer Baby Go looks forward to creating more films in 2024.
During an intimate gathering in Quezon City, Go shared that her passion for creating films continues to live on even though she's been busy with her other businesses.
"Nag-focus lang ako dati sa subdivision ko, pero ngayon, gagawa na ako uli. Pero i-showing ko muna ‘yung movie ko na tapos na. Alam n’yo naman kung gaano ko kamahal ‘yung showbiz. Nandiyan pa rin ang BG Productions,” Baby said.
(I used to focus only on my subdivision, but now, I'm going to do it again. But first I will show my finished movie. You know how much I love showbiz. BG Productions is still there)
She has produced 17 films in the past years. BG Production films were also recognized at the international film festival scene, including the Danang International Film Festival in Vietnam and the International Imago Film Festival di Civitella del Tronto in Italy, where Allen Dizon won his best actor award for his performance in "AbeNida".
Another reason she was inspired to do more films was the success of the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival, which was extended until Jan. 14.
According to Baby, seeing the Philippine cinema come back to life again inspired her to create more stories.
"Ngayon masaya ako kasi nakakabalik na ang pelikulang pilipino, hindi nga lang ako nakapanood ngayon pero masaya ako kasi bumabalik na ang sigla ng mga producer at artista," she added.
(Now I'm happy because Filipino movies are coming back; not only did I watch them today, but I'm pleased because the enthusiasm of the producers and actors is coming back)
With a little sneak peek of what her plans for 2024 would be, Baby also includes in her pipeline of creating films for Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos.
"Tutuluyin ko ‘yan one day. Nasa pipeline na ‘yan. Wala pa akong material pero naka-line up na ‘yan. Nag-comeback na si Vilma with her Till I Met You in Tokyo where she won best actress. We can negotiate na a project with her. Marami akong planong gawin dahil gusto kong bumalik ang sigla ng showbiz. Ayoko munang sabihin lahat ng plano ko. Mas maganda ‘yung nangyari na," Baby said.
(I'll do that one day. That's in the pipeline. I still need the material but it's lined up. Vilma made a comeback with her Till I Met You in Tokyo, where she won best actress. We can negotiate a project with her. I have a lot of plans to do because I want the vitality of showbiz to return. I don't want to say all my plans. I want all of you to see it.)
