Award-winning actor Jiro Manio has sold one of his acting trophies to Pinoy Pawnstars, stating that he is content with his decision.
Jiro sold his Urian Best Actor trophy for P75,000. Initially, the 31-year-old actor offered his trophy for P500,000. He won the prestigious trophy from the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino for the movie "Magnifico" in 2004.
"Sabi ng utol ko magpapatayo ka raw ng museum. Sana mapabilang ako roon na dating artista na nakatanggap ng award," Jiro told Boss Toyo.
Jiro also won other acting trophies from the Film Academy of the Philippines, Metro Manila Film Festival, and Famas.
"Lagi kong iniisip ano ang balik sa akin nito at kung may potential buyer ako nito in the future. Pero gusto ko ito sa tindahan ko," said Boss Toyo before he and the actor closed the deal. Jiro said he contacted the Pinoy Pawnstar through broadcast journalist Julius Babao.

He lives with his two daughters in San Mateo, Rizal. His other companions at home are his grandfather and cousins.
Jiro started as an actor at the age of six. He became the breadwinner of his family when his mother got sick. His mom passed away in 2007. Reports said Jiro got hooked on drugs at 15. But that was all behind him now, he said.
He was discovered by a talent scout in San Juan, where he grew up. The actor got his biggest break in the television anthology "Maalaala Mo Kaya."
At the peak of his career, Jiro also earned millions. "Lahat ng kinita ko may naipundar naman ako para sa pamilya ko. Napabisyo rin ako."
Jiro said he entered rehab four times.
Boss Toyo also said he admires Jiro as a great actor. He also offered to give counseling in Bataan soon.
Jiro signed the trophy before he left.
"Happy po ako dahil tinanggap ni Boss Toyo yung award giving body (trophy) na pinapatago ko sa kanya para mailagay niya sa museum kung matuloy yun. Nagpapasalamat ako. Yun lang. Maraming salamat po," the actor said.
