Senior citizen dies in Bacolod hit-and-run

BACOLOD CITY – A senior citizen was struck and killed by an e-trike on Circumferential Road, Barangay Montevista here on Thursday, September 7.

Police Capt. Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 4, identified the victim as Noli Chan, 72, of Barangay Villamonte, this city.

Depasucat said the victim was riding a bicycle on his way home when he was hit by an e-trike.

The e-trike driver fled and is yet to be identified.

The victim was taken to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital here where he died.

Depasucat said they are looking for surveillance camera footages in the area to enable them to identify the suspect.
