Taguig LGU launches mobile diagnostics van for free medical tests in barangays

The Taguig City government launched its mobile diagnostics van to provide free diagnostic testing in barangays.

According to Mayor Lani Cayetano, through the diagnostics van, residents can now avail of chest X-ray, electrocardiogram (ECG), ultrasound and laboratory tests (RBS, CBC, urinalysis, platelet count and blood typing).

“Sa ilalim ng Caring City, malasakit, pagkalinga, pamahalaang siyang lumalapit sa ating mga kababayan at naghahatid ng serbisyong abot-kamay po ninyo (Under the Caring City, concern, care, a government that goes to our citizens and providing services that are within reach),” she aid at the launching in Barangay Lower Bicutan where more than 500 residents availed of the services.

The diagnostics van is part of the Taguig Love Caravan, a health program that visits barangays three times a week to provide free checkup, medicines, laboratory and diagnostic services, dental services and food preparation and nutrition demo.
