1,218 out of 3,945 pass September 2023 registered electrical engineers' licensure examination — PRC

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, Sept. 8, that 1,218 out of 3,945 examinees have passed the September 2023 licensure examination for registered electrical engineers.

Timothy Regienald Rongavilla Zepeda from the University of the Philippines (UP)-Los Baños topped the board exam held last Sept. 2 and 3 with an average of 90.95 percent.
Meanwhile, Prince Ian Francisco Cruz (90.65 percent) from the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila and Christian Degala Huenda (90.05 percent) from Capiz State University (CIT)(PSPC)-Main Campus came in second and third spots, respectively.

The exam, given by the Board of Electrical Engineering, was held in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Oriental Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
PRC said the board passers can register online for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration from Oct. 9 to 13, Oct. 16 to 20, and Oct. 23.

Registrants must bring the duly accomplished oath form or "Panunumpa ng Propesyonal," notice of admission, two passport-sized pictures (colored with a white background, and a complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope.
PRC said the date and venue of the oathtaking will be announced soon.
