Zamboanga City joins nationwide earthquake drill

ZAMBOANGA CITY – This city joined the third quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on Thursday, September 7.

The activity, spearheaded by the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, aims to prepare the populace should a big tremor jolt this city.

Participants from the city government, police, national government agencies, and schools and universities performed the duck, cover, and hold technique as they safely streamed out of their offices toward safety.

The Office of Civil Defense set its fourth quarter earthquake drill on November 11.
