Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano led 600 children of the city in a “back-to-school" adventure trip at Star City on Thursday, Sept. 7.
Rubiano said the program, which carried the theme “Batanga Masaya,” is part of her birthday gifts to the city's children.
She said the 600 children experienced a whole day of fun with free rides and games at the amusement park from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
She said that as the mother of the city, she wants the city's children to enjoy and have fun.
Aside from the whole day rides, the city government also prepared an educational tour for the children, the mayor added.
Rubiano said they also prepared lunch and merienda for the children.
