NPA amazon surrenders in Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – A New People’s Army amazon in this province surrendered to the police on September 6.

Police Col. Richard Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief, identified the surrenderer as “Ka Anie,” a member of the Sentro de Gravidad and prganizer of the Alyansang Magbubukid ng Gitnang Luzon-Nueva Ecija (AMGL-NE). 

She surrendered a caliber .38 revolver with three bullets and a grenade.

Caballero said there is no letup in the campaign against the NPA. 

“We shall pursue our campaign against insurgency and prevent the rebels from causing threat and harm to the community.”
