A 39-year-old woman wanted for illegal drugs was nabbed by police operatives of the Antipolo City Police following a drug buy-bust operation on Wednesday, Sept. 6, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said.
The suspect was identified as Mylene Dapua, a resident of Barangay Mayamot in Antipolo City. She has been tagged as a high value individual (HVI) by the police.
Based on the police report, the suspect was arrested along Kingsville Subdivision in Barangay Mayamot following a buy-bust operation. Recovered from her were the P207,000 worth of shabu, the buy-bust money, and other paraphernalia.
Dapua is now detained at the Antipolo Custodial Facility and is facing charges for violation of R.A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Rizal PPO OIC PCol. Rainerio De Chavez commended the police for the successful arrest of Dapua and assured the public of the police's continued efforts in eradicating illegal drugs and crime not just in Antipolo City but in the whole Rizal province.
