Fire razes 15 houses in Taguig


A fire hit a residential area in Taguig on Sept. 6, damaging P500,000 worth of properties. 

According to the Taguig City Fire Station, the fire started at about 9:14 a.m. at No. 93 N.P. Cruz St. Ibayo in Barangay Ususan.

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 9:26 a.m. before the blaze was put under control at 9:42 a.m. and put out at 10 a.m. 

A total of 15 houses with 30 families or 97 individuals were affected by the fire. The fire originated from the second floor of a house but the cause is under investigation. No one was injured in the incident. 

A total of eight fire trucks and two ambulances responded to the incident.
