BTS Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ crowned Billboard’s No. 1 Global Song of the Summer


BTS member Jungkook’s “Seven (feat. Latto)" has been crowned Billboard’s No. 1 Global Song of the Summer of 2023. 

Billboard announced the top 10 based on songs’ “performance on the weekly Global 200, from charts dated June 10-Sept. 9, spotlighting the biggest songs worldwide from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The Global 200 ranks songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate.”

“Seven” debuted at No. 1 on the July 29-dated Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts and has remained on top of the two global charts for seven weeks. 

With this, “Seven” has surpassed the record of Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers,” which grabbed the No. 1 spot for six weeks starting in January.
