Four persons were injured when a fire hit a storage facility of a supplier of composite products, and construction and industrial materials in Taguig on Sept. 7.
According to the Taguig City Fire Station, the fire engulfed the storage facility of Sea Olympus Marketing located at No. 17-A 1st Ave., corner Mañalac Ave. in Barangay Bagumbayan at about 11:32 a.m.

The fire station identified the injured persons as Gilmar Sabalsa, 38, who suffered burns in the face, left and right arms, and right foot; Rolly Del Monte, 42, who had laceration in the right eyebrow; Crisostomo Richard Delara, 29, who suffered a burn in the left forearm; and Rien Estopace, 44, who suffered difficulty in breathing.
Firefighters raised the first alarm at 11:36 a.m., followed by a second alarm at 11:43 a.m. They declared fire out at 12:43 p.m.
The blaze originated from the company’s cold room and damaged P1.75 million worth of properties. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Sea Olympus Marketing supplies raw materials including resin and fiberglass, surface coatings and materials, foams and corrugated sheets, according to its websites.
A total of 12 fire trucks and three ambulances responded to the incident.
