2 men nabbed for possession of shabu in Taguig

Two men were arrested by the police for possession of suspected shabu in Taguig on Sept. 7. 

Personnel from Taguig police’s Substation 3 conducted an anti-criminality operation thru “Oplan Galugad” on Sunflower Street in Panam Village in Barangay Pinagsama.

The operation resulted in the arrest of suspects Ian Jay Yañez, 20, and Darwin Mutuc, 34, who will be charged with violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). 

During the operation, the police confiscated 13 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 55 grams with a value of P374,000. 

Suspects are detained at the Taguig police’s custodial facility.
