Teenage boy shot dead, body dumped on roadside in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – The body of a 14-year-old teenager with a bullet wound in the head was found in Barangay Malabanban Sur, this town, on Tuesday night, September 5.

Police identified the victim as Alexander Bas Yap Jr., a resident of Barangay Malabanban Sur.

The victim’s body was found on the side of the Candelaria-San Juan Road.

Police said they have two persons of interest in the crime, one of whom is a neighbor.

Follow-up investigation and manhunt operation are ongoing.
