Police seize P500,000 worth of shabu in Valenzuela, Malabon drug busts


Operatives from the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) and Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) confiscated around P558,280 worth of illegal drugs from three suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Valenzuela and Malabon, on Monday, Sept. 4. and Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Members of the Valenzuela City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (VCPS-DEU) identified the suspect as Jordan Batac, 45.

Reports showed that the VCPS-SDEU operatives conducted a buy-bust operation at around 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 4., along Santolan Service Road, Barangay Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City.

Confiscated from Batac were around six pieces of sealed transparent plastics containing suspected shabu worth P204,000, a coin purse, a motorcycle, and the buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, personnel of the Malabon City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (MCPS-DEU) identified the suspects as Allan Gapate, 33; and Clyde Drexler Nunag, 27.

Operatives conducted the buy-bust operation at around 11 p.m. on Sept 5., along Dulong Proper, Borromeo St., Barangay Longos, Malabon City.

Police recovered around two pieces of sealed transparent plastics containing shabu worth P354,280, a violet colored wallet, and the buy-bust money.

The suspects are currently under police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 1965 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002.
