Parañaque LGU holds payout for 1,500 'cash-for-work' beneficiaries
Around 1,500 beneficiaries received their salary payout for the Parañaque City government's cash-for-work program on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Valley 5 Covered court in Barangay San Antonio.

Mayor Eric Olivarez and his brother, Representative Edwin Olivarez, led the distribution of the payout.
Mayor Eric said they were also joined by the team from the City Social Welfare and Development under Vivian Gabriel.
He said the beneficiaries received P5,370 each after finishing their 10-day duty tour in cleaning the city’s canals, esteros and streets.
The mayor said 640 beneficiaries were from District 1 and 860 from District II of the city government’s cash-for-work program.
Olivarez said the program was made possible through the initiative of the CSWDD in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to help residents find temporary employment and alleviate daily expenses.
