Marcos taps Hans Leo Cacdac as Dep't of Migrant Workers OIC

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac as the officer-in-charge of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

Malacañang announced the designation of Cacdac on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Cacdac, who is currently serving as an Undersecretary for Welfare and Foreign Employment of the DMW, will fill the position of late DMW Secretary Susan "Toots" Ople.

Ople passed away last Aug. 22.

Aside from Cacdac, Marcos also appointed Jennifer Pia Las as Chairperson of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Marcos has also designated Jose Lim IV as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
