"We were fortunate to embark on a "green tour" of the property, exploring its eco-friendly initiatives, which features an e-bike charging station, solar power solutions, a vermicomposting facility, and an herb garden.

At Haliya, the property’s modern Filipino restaurant, we were treated to an “innovative” merienda that highlighted the use of fresh herbs harvested from the rooftop garden. The restaurant also featured a display showcasing their sustainable F&B initiatives.

145 metric tons of food waste were composted through the onsite vermicomposting facility, providing nutritious soil for the gardens.

Jennylyn Santillan, director of sales and marketing, expressed her enthusiasm for sharing their commitment to sustainability through the tour. "Sustainable luxury resonates with everyone these days, and through this tour, we aim to demonstrate how seamlessly we integrate green practices into our guests' experiences. We appreciate the opportunity to showcase our efforts.

"Recognizing its exceptional dedication to sustainable practices, City of Dreams Manila was honored as a finalist in the inaugural "Responsible Hospitality Award in 2023" by Forbes Travel Guide, a globally renowned rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas.
