A total of 120 individuals were accommodated during the event, including Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel.

The medical mission also offered free ultrasound and cryotherapy services to the participants.

"Our goal is to promote awareness to women regarding the importance of early detection so they can receive professional advice and proper treatment. The event will be an avenue to provide assistance and make diagnosis and treatment accessible for everyone," Kaulayaw Coffee said.

The organizers have also given away 10 free mobility devices to selected participants of the event. These include wheelchairs, quad canes, crutches, walkers, prostheses, and orthotics.

In the latest study by the Philippine News Agency (PNA), more than 27,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and about 8,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer every year.
