1 hurt in Caloocan City fire

A 23-year-old man was hurt in a fire that hit a residential area along McArthur Highway, Barangay 81, Caloocan City, on Tuesday night, Sept. 5.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the victim was identified as Steven Roy Cabaquintos Paris, 23.

The victim sustained burns on his arm, shoulder, and on his upper and lower abdomen.

According to the BFP, the fire started around 7 p.m.

It reached the first alarm at 7:27 p.m.

Firefighters were able to put the fire under control around 7:59 p.m.

It was extinguished at 8:02 p.m.

Authorities have yet to determine the estimated damage to property caused by the fire.
