Motorcycle thief arrested in Pasay City


 

 

A 39-year-old motorcycle thief was arrested by members of the Pasay City police during a follow-up operation on Sunday, Sept. 3.

Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, said the arrested suspect was identified as Marlon Perez while his companion, Vince Joseph Guan, 25,  remains at large. Police said they are members of the Sputnik gang

Uy said Perez was arrested during a follow-up operation along Hen Lim St., Barangay Bangkal, Makati City.

He said the victim reported that his Yamaha Mio motorcycle was discovered stolen while parked in front of Veronica building located along Arnaiz Avenue, Barangay 66, Pasay City  at around 4:20 a.m.

The city police chief said that during the follow-up operation, the stolen motorcycle, one Honda beat, ignition switch, one pair of black Nike slippers, and one black t-shirt were recovered from Perez.

Uy said Perez was immediately brought to police custodial facility after his arrest and will be charged with carnapping.
