CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City – Police seized suspected shabu worth P1 million from a drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Lawis, Barangay Talipan, Pagbilao, this province, on Monday, September 4.
Police Col. Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, identified the suspect as Ronie Rocela Senor, alias “Sabog,” 35, a resident of Sitio Kalawit Ibayo, Barangay Pinagbayanan, this city.
Monte said Senor, listed as a high-value individual on drugs of the Pagbilao PNP, yielded 51 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P1,040,400.
The Quezon police chief cited the police, who were reinforced by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, for a sucessful operation.
“Ang matagumpay na anti-illegal drug operation ay resulta ng mahusay at mas pinaigting na kampanya ng Quezon pulis laban sa ilegal na droga at sa lahat ng uri ng kriminalidad upang mapanatili ang maayos at maunlad na probinsya ng Quezon (The successful anti-illegal drug operation is the result of the efficient and intensified campaign of the Quezon police against illegal drugs and all types of criminality to maintain an orderly and prosperous province of Quezon),” Monte said.
Senor faces drug-related charges.
