DOJ awards Parañaque City's Prosecutor's office for outstanding performance
The Department of Justice named the Parañaque city prosecutor office as an outstanding prosecution office in the National Prosecution Service (NPS) on Monday, Sept. 4.
The Parañaque office of the city prosecutor was named as an outstanding office in the NSP for its stellar performance and achievement in obtaining an outstanding performance rating for the calendar year 2022.
DOJ Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla and Prosecutor General Benedicto Malcontento handed over the award to Parañaque City prosecutor office and was received by Parañaque City Prosecutor Benjamin Vermug.
Vermug was also given an outstanding performance award for his steadfast dedication and invaluable contribution to the NSP.
Mayor Eric Olivarez and his brother, Rep. Edwin Olivarez, congratulated the Office of the City Prosecutor's Office for the honor it brought to the people of Parañaque.
The Olivarez brothers also recognized the unwavering dedication of Vermug and his division head Senior Deputy City Prosecutor and Administrative head, Edelyn Maglambayan Murillo.
The mayor and the congressman also congratulated Deputy City Prosecutor Leonardo Rodriguez Jr., Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Lamberto Pabros and Senior Assistant City Prosecutor and assistant administrative head, Romeo Bautista and its staff in attaining the remarkable feat.
