Class suspensions have been announced by institutions, such as Colegio de San Juan de Letrán (CSJL), Manila Central University (MCU), University of the East (UE), National University (NU), Philippine Normal University (PNU), and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) in their respective Facebook posts.

The University of Santo Tomas (UST), Mapua University, St. Paul University Manila (SPUM), Adamson University (AdU), and Far Eastern University (FEU) have also confirmed class suspensions.

Meanwhile, De La Salle University (DLSU) shifted to a WFH arrangement.

“Due to continuous rain, classes at all levels and work on the Manila campus shall shift online today,” DLSU said on their social media account.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said “Hanna” may continue to enhance the effect of the southwest monsoon or “habagat,” which may bring occasional rains to the western part of Luzon over the next three days.
