Kraft, 46 other ranking PRO-13 officers test negative for drugs


CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft and 46 other ranking police officers in the Caraga region tested negative in a surprise drug test in this camp on Tuesday afternoon, September 26.

The Regional Forensic Unit-13, in a result released on Thursday afternoon, September 28, said all their urine samples were negative for marijuana and shabu.

Kraft said that PRO-13 is committed to upholding the law and that includes a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to illegal drugs.

“Our duty is to enforce the law, not to break it. It is important that our unit commanders serve as exemplary role models and guardians of peace,” he said. 

“We will not tolerate any actions that undermine the integrity of our police force.”
