These Filipino style icons are taking Milan Fashion Week by storm

In our digital-obsessed age, fashion week is more than just a stylish spectacle that is experienced live. Its impact is also now felt online with many brands and design houses using the power of social media not just to create buzz but also to generate revenue.

Helping them with that are celebrities, fashion influencers, and giant movers in the industry. Among them are Filipino stars and style icons. In a report by data insights companies Launchmetrics and Wearisma, actresses Heart Evangelista, Pia Wurtzbach, and Liza Soberano are among the Milan Fashion Week spring-summer 2024 attendees with high media value.

In a story by WWD, Pia Wurtzbach gained $3.4 million in media impact value. The former Miss Universe attended shows of Bally, Tods, and Gucci. She came second to South Korean boy band Enhypen, who generated $7 million in media impact value, according to Launchmetrics.

In the same data analysis, Heart Evangelista dominated the top five influencer list during Milan Fashion Week. She graced the shows of Versace, Missoni, Moschino, Tods, and Fendi, among others. Joining her on the list are influencers Madeleine White, Silvia Bussade Braz, Charli D'amelio, and Luisa Fernanda W.

As per Wearisma, Liza Soberano coined $671,000 with her Instagram post of her Prada look, which marked her first time attending Milan Fashion Week.
