CEBU CITY – The provincial government of Bohol reiterated its support to local cooperatives.

Gov. Aris Aumentado reaffirmed his commitment to bolster local cooperatives when he was recently visited by Undersecretary Joseph Encabo, chairperson of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).
During the visit, Aumentado and Encabo talked about various collaborative efforts to strengthen cooperatives in the province.
The two officials emphasized the importance of exploring effective strategies to assist and further develop local cooperatives.
“I am confident that this will benefit enterprises across the province,” Aumentado said.
Aumentado and Encabo assured that substantial support will be provided to agricultural workers.
Both officials recognized the potential of cooperatives to significantly improve the lives of Boholano farmers.
Encabo acknowledged the substantial cooperative development potential in the region through the assistance of various government agencies.
He assured that the CDA is committed to help the province in its efforts to boost its cooperatives.
According to Encabo, the CDA has been an essential partner in fostering economic growth on the local level as it is actively involved in promoting and supporting cooperatives nationwide.
