2 men yield P400,000 ‘shabu’ in Quiapo drug sting

Two men yielded P408,000 worth of alleged shabu in a buy-bust operation in Quiapo, Manila on Friday, Sept. 30.

The Manila Police District identified the victims as Brando Martinez and William Sibal, both residents of Tondo.

According to the police report, the two suspects were collared by MPD Barbosa Police Station (PS-14) at C. M. Recto Avenue corner Loyola Street, Barangay 390 in Quiapo.

Recovered from the suspects were four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 60 grams of suspected shabu.

The arrested suspects were brought to custodial facility of PS-14 and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002.
