2 high-value targets arrested in shabu buy-bust in Taguig


Police operatives arrested two men, tagged as high-value targets, and seized suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Sept. 28. 

The operation was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) units and the Taguig police at about 12:30 p.m. on Arca Boulevard in Barangay Western Bicutan, according to a report received by Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Roderick Mariano.

The police identified the arrested suspects as Kim Kim Dimalanin and Mansor Baulan.

Seized in the operation was a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing 50 grams with a value of P345,000. 

The suspects were turned over to PDEA and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). 

"Patuloy ang  makikipagtulungan sa PDEA ng SPD sa mga operasyon laban sa iligal na droga. (The SPD continues to cooperate with PDEA in operations against illegal drugs),” said Mariano.
