NCT, BTS' J-Hope, TWICE's Jihyo top monthly album chart for August in South Korea

K-pop boy band NCT, BTS’ J-Hope and TWICE’s Jihyo topped the monthly physical album chart for August in South Korea. 

South Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the rankings for the monthly album chart for August based on physical record index (PRI), a score that combined total album sales and album price.

NCT’s “Golden Age,” released only on Aug. 28, topped the monthly album chart with 626,176 copies sold, or an equivalent of 756,628 in physical record index score. 

Placing second is J-Hope, who is currently fulfilling his military service. His “Jack In The Box (Hope Ed.)” was released on Aug. 18 and sold 541,492 copies and garnered a PRI score of 703,940. 

TWICE member Jihyo’s “Zone,” released on Aug. 18, grabbed third place with 540,853 copies in sales or a PRI score of 629,276. 

Trot singer Young Tak’s “Form” took fourth place with 629,097 copies sold or 587,005 in PRI score. 

K-pop boy band Treasure’s “Reboot” placed fifth with 423,686 copies sold or a PRI score of  481,974.
