Mayor Eric, Rep. Edwin give relief goods, cash aid to fire victims

Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez and his brother, Representative Edwin Olivarez, distributed relief packs and cash aid to 71 families who were victims of a fire incident on Saturday, Sept. 2.

Mayor Eric said a fire occurred early morning of on Sept. 2 along Sitio Kawayanan Manggahan in Barangay Marcelo Green wherein 71 families were left homeless.

The Olivarez brothers distributed relief supplies, sleeping kits, food supplies and financial assistance to the victims who were staying at the evacuation center.

Mayor Eric told the victims that the city government will continue to help them fulfill their needs.

He said the victims will also receive assistance under the City Social Amelioration Program of the City social Welfare and Development Department.
