Pasay named 2nd 'most competitive' highly urbanized city in PH
Pasay City was named the second "Most Competitive Highly Urbanized City" during the Cities and Municipalities Index Awards of the Competitiveness Bureau of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The city also ranked first in the "Most Competitive in Economic Dynamism," and third in the "Most Competitive - Government Efficiency" categories.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano personally received the awards during the awarding ceremony at the Manila Hotel on Sept. 28.
Rubiano said her “Tapat na Paglilingkod (honest governance)" to city residents contributed to the city government's accolades.
This initiative is proof that the city was worthy to receive the awards for the second time, she added.
Rubiano assured the public that she will continue serving the residents and her constituents.
