CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union – Police uprooted marijuana plants worth an estimated P1 million in the boundary of Sitio Inasan, Barangay Tubaday, Santol, La Union and Sitio Mocgao, Barangay Badeo, Kibungan, Benguet on Wednesday, September 28.
Lawmen discovered a total of 6,700 marijuana plants cultivated in a land area of 670-square meters.
They were found after a concerned citizen informed the police of their presence in the area.
A follow-up probe is underway to identify the cultivator.
