The MPD Raxabago Police Station (PS-1) identified the suspect as Marvin Mangalindan, 23, a resident of Barangay 128, Tondo.

The suspect was arrested after the police received a phone call from a concerned citizen who spotted him creating trouble along the southbound lane of Mel Lopez Boulevard in Barangay 101, Tondo.

Responding police officers later saw him in Sitio Damayan, Tondo shouting at the top of his voice, challenging and threatening to kill the people in the area. He was armed with a gun.

The police instructed the suspect to lie down on the ground, which he followed. He was immediately arrested.

During his arrest, authorities found out that he is the same suspect in a viral video showing him harassing and beating a truck driver and his porter with a lead pipe while trying to rob their truck.

Recovered from the suspect was an improvised firearm loaded with one live ammunition, and two more bullets in his pocket.

He is now detained at PS-1 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act, and Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code (alarm and scandal) in relation to the Omnibus Election Code.
