President Marcos has reappointed Teodoro Herbosa as interim Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH).

Malacañang made the announcement on Friday, Secpt. 29, three days after Herbosa's appointment was bypassed by the Commission on Appointments (CA).
Herbosa failed to get the powerful appointments body's nod due to "lack of material time" for the panel to deliberate on his ad interim appointment.
Marcos appointed Herbosa as DOH Secretary in June this year. It came almost a year after the post was left vacant.
Herbosa, a doctor by profession, served as a special adviser of the National Task Force against Covid-19 prior to his appointment.
Also announced was the appointment of former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff Andres Centino Presidential Assistant for Maritime Concerns, with the rank of secretary.
