LPA develops into tropical depression 'Jenny' — PAGASA

The low pressure area (LPA) east of Central Luzon developed into a tropical depression, and was named “Jenny,” said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Friday, Sept. 29.

PAGASA said the LPA became a tropical depression around 2 p.m., and will issue its first bulletin on Jenny at 5 p.m.

Jenny is the 10th tropical cyclone for 2023 and second for September.
