Transgender solon tickled pink after netizen says she looks like Heart Evangelista

Bataan 1st district Rep. Geraldine Roman couldn't help but be elated after a netizen compared her to popular showbiz personality and fashionista Heart Evangelista.

Roman shared via Facebook story Wednesday, Sept. 27 a screenshot of the comment, along with side-by-side photos of her and Evangelista, but with the identity of the netizen blurred.

"Kamukha ni transgender congressman woman Geraldine Roman si Heart Evangelista (Transgender congressman woman Geraldine Roman looks like Heart Evangelista)," read the comment that flattered the lawmaker

"Grabe! (Wow!) I'm touched by the kind comparisons to Heart Evangelista. Being mentioned alongside a fashion icon is an honor," wrote Roman.

"Kulang na lang talaga ang keso sa buhay ko! (The only thing missing in my life is cheese!)" she added in a witty pun.

Evangelista's husband just happens to be Senator Francis Escudero, whose nickname is "Chiz".

Roman chairs the House Committee on Women and Gender Equality in the current 19th Congress.
