Over 11 individuals rescued in San Juan amid continuous rains
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) announced the rescue of more than 11 individuals who were trapped in their flooded house on Barasoain Street in Barangay Little Baguio, San Juan City due to the heavy downpour on Thursday, Sept. 28.
According to the BFP and San Juan City Rescue, the rescue operation started at 4:47 p.m. and was finished at 7:15 p.m.
The authorities said the creek near the house overflowed due to heavy rains, preventing the occupants from exiting their home.
An evacuation area was set up by officials of Barangay Little Baguio where the victims are now staying.
