The beneficiaries who flocked to the Pasig City Sports Complex for the program received financial assistance worth P2,000 each.

Councilor Angelu De Leon graced the ceremony to show her support to the beneficiaries and convey her gratitude to Hontiveros' office.

"Hangad natin na mas marami pang Pasigueño ang mapabilang sa ganitong programa upang matulungan ayon sa kanilang mga pangangailangan (We wish for more Pasigueño to be included in these programs in order to help them according to their needs)," said De Leon.

The AICS is a social welfare program of the DSWD that provides urgent medical, burial, transportation, education, food, or financial support and services to individuals and families in crisis.

Examples of eligible beneficiaries include victims of calamities or other disasters, displaced persons, abuse victims, indigent individuals who need medical treatment or assistance in shouldering school expenses.

Eligibility to the AICS program is determined by their qualifications for the type of assistance that is requested.
