Water interruptions to hit 7 cities, municipalities in NCR

Caloocan, Manila, Navotas, Pasig, Quezon City, Rizal, and San Juan City will experience water interruptions from Wednesday, Sept. 27 to Monday, Oct. 2.

Manila Water Co. will undergo various activities such as line meter replacement, valve and line maintenance, line meter, and strainer declogging.

While Maynilad Water Services will provide network maintenance in the western zones of Metro Manila.

All water maintenance will be conducted from late evenings to early mornings to prevent any further inconvenience.

The areas affected and their schedule are as follows:

Sept. 27 to 28

10 PM to 4 AM

Taytay, Rizal – Parts of Brgy. Dolores

10 PM to 6 AM

Quezon City – Nova Proper and Nagkaisang Nayon, and Sangandaan

11 PM to 4 AM

Caloocan City – Brgys. 5 to 14

Sept. 28 to 29

10 PM to 4 AM

Quezon City – Parts of Brgy. Pansol, Claro, Duyan Duyan, Quirino 3-A, and Tandang Sora

San Juan City – Parts of Brgy. Balong Bato, Pedro Cruz, San Perfecto, Progreso, Rivera, Batis

Taytay, Rizal – Parts of Brgy. Santa Ana

Pasig City – Brgy. Pinagbuhatan

10 PM to 6 AM

Quezon City – Sta. Monica and Gulod

11 PM to 2 AM

Manila – Brgys. 649, 650, 653 to 655, 657, 658 and 666

11 PM to 4 AM

Caloocan City – Brgys. 159 and 160

Navotas City – Navotas West and Sipac-Almacen

11 PM to 6 AM

Quezon City – Batasan Hills

Sept. 29 to 30

10 PM to 4 AM

Quezon City – Brgy. Holy Spirit

10 PM to 6 AM

Quezon City – Del Monte, Bungad and Veterans, Paang Bundok, and Masambong

Navotas City – Tanza, Northbay Boulevard (South)

Both water concessionaires remind residents to stock up on adequate water supply to mitigate hassle.

As soon as the maintenance in the areas is completed, households are advised to conduct tap flushing until the water becomes clear. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
