Seek necessary permits for exporting antiques, other artworks, BOC reminds passengers
The Bureau of Customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA) has reminded passengers to observe the rules in exporting antiques and other artworks.
In a statement, the BOC said the export of antiques and other artworks requires clearance from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) based on its Board Resolution No. 2021-281 (Guidelines for Exporting Cultural Properties from the Philippines).
"Applicants, including owners, artists, or their authorized agents, must submit the necessary documents to the NCCA at least 60 days before the planned export from the Philippines," th BOC said.
